New Dress Code Rules

with effect from

1^st December 2025

 

Within Armoury House:

Smart business attire is required in the following rooms: Entrance Hall, Grand Staircase, Court Room, Medal Room, Long Room, Drum Room, Sutling Room & Writing Rooms, which as a minimum comprises:

Gentlemen:

Collared shirt Smart trousers Formal shoes

(For the avoidance of doubt, a jacket and tie are not required but Members and guests that wish to wear them are most welcome to do so)

Ladies:

Tailored style; a dress, skirt, or trousers with a well-presented top or blouse.

Formal shoes or smart boots.

Military uniform may be worn throughout Armoury House.

All other rooms:

Smart casual wear is appropriate.

Shirts must be collared and tucked in.

These changes take effect from 1 December 2025.
