Members of the Regiment who also apply and are admitted to the membership of the Company receive access to additional social, sporting and recreational opportunities, as well as complimentary membership to the flagship Virgin Active health club at Armoury House.
Membership of the Company is open to:
- serving members of the HAC Regiment or HAC Special Constabulary
- veteran members of the HAC Regiment, or any other Regular or Reserve armed or police force
- associate members, which is open to widows/widowers of Regimental Members or to the spouse or civil partner of Regimental Members who have completed 20 years or more membership of the Company. Click here for more information.
Today, approximately 440 members are serving officers, 1650 are HAC veterans and 500 are veterans from other forces. The size and reach of this cohort in commerce, the professions, the military and Parliament ensure the Company maintains influence on behalf of the Regiment within the City and wider society.
By joining, members also enjoy a number of benefits at Armoury House, such as joining our social clubs, use of our bedrooms, function room hire, access to our business suite, lunch in the Long Room, tickets to Company events and access to the Virgin Active health club. Veteran members are also able to continue to serve by joining the Pikemen & Musketeers or the Light Cavalry.
To join, you must be proposed and seconded by an existing Regimental member. Please download our guide detailing the full list of criteria and timetable for applications before applying for membership.
If you have any questions, please contact the Company Office.
