Yes, the dress code in Armoury House is jacket, collared shirt and tie (ties optional after 1800hrs), trousers and smart shoes (ladies equivalent). Ties are required for Court meetings and otherwise specified for events.

The "Company" comprises all elements of the Honourable Artillery Company. The "Active Unit" is our body of serving members and comprises "The Regiment" and the Detachment of Special Constabulary. "The Regiment" is a unit of the Army Reserve. You can find out more about all our constituent parts in the Who We Are pages.

The restaurant is for the use of members and their guests only, or those part of our corporate dining scheme.

We have a small private museum for HAC members and their guests only and do not generally offer tours of this museum and Armoury House to members of the public. Specific educational/special-interest visits by appointment might be considered, depending on the nature of the request. For more details, please email the Archivist via hac@hac.org.uk.

For further eligibility criteria for the Regiment, Special Constabulary, Ceremonial Sub-Units, societies and sports clubs, please contact them directly via their pages under the Who We Are and What We Do sections.

If you are a member of the HAC and have yet to register to the website since the relaunch in September 2019, you can do so as follows:

1. Click "Members" in the top grey bar
2. Click "Register Now"
3. Complete the required fields and click "Register"

A member of staff will then verify and approve your account. You will then have access to the Members' Area.

Captcha is an additional security feature to ensure that all those accessing the website are real people (as opposed to automatic computer software). On registering, you will see a field titled "I am not a robot". To complete this Captcha field, simply tick the box next to the text - you may also be asked to click cells within a pop-up grid of a picture. Completing this process helps confirm your identity and is common across the internet.

This error message is usually due to incorrect login credentials being entered when trying to login to the website. It is a security feature to prevent fraudulent access to the members’ area of the website. There are several ways to resolve the error:

1. It automatically clears itself after 24-48 hours (you can use an incognito/private window while you wait for it to clear)
2. You can manually clear it by clearing your recent browser history/cache
3. If you know your IP address, you can submit this to the Company Office

If you continue to experience problems, please contact the Company Office for further support.

There is a small selection of bedrooms available to book for members only. You can find full details on the bedrooms, such as rates, facilities, breakfast, guests and advanced booking, via the Bedroom Booking page in the Members' Area under the Facilities tab.

Limited parking is available for members on a first-come-first-served basis; it cannot be reserved and does not come as part of a bedroom booking. Full details on parking availability can be found on the Resources page in the Members' Area.

Members are able to purchase all items of merchandise via the Online Shop in the Members' Area.
