The perfect setting for your vows
Exchanging your vows in front of your friends and family is most couples’ focal point when planning their wedding or civil partnership. We understand how important it is that the space where this momentous event takes place is very special indeed.
We have four beautiful rooms licenced for weddings and civil partnerships, each with its own unique charm and infused with the character of our historic venue. All are wheelchair accessible, with three located on the ground floor and the Long Room situated on the first floor. Learn more about our venue.


Choosing your ceremony space
Each of our licenced spaces has its own unique charm, offering a choice of settings to suit your vision:
- The Long Room: a grand space with beautiful views over the Artillery Garden, ideal for larger ceremonies.
- Prince Consort Rooms: a contemporary, adaptable venue perfect for grander celebrations.
- Queen’s and Ante Rooms: charming, light-filled rooms perfect for a more intimate ceremony.
Whether you’re planning a small, private ceremony or a grand celebration, our versatile spaces ensure your day will be unforgettable.
Registrar
Once you’ve secured your date with us, the next step is to contact the Superintendent Registrar for Islington Council to arrange a registrar for your ceremony.
Important things to know:
- Ceremonies can be held between 8am and 6pm, with the last ceremony starting at 5pm.
- You can book up to one year in advance.
- Formal notice must be given to Islington Council up to one year before your ceremony.
