The Prince Consort Rooms

The Prince Consort Rooms is the HAC’s largest and most versatile space. Converted from the Regiment’s former drill hall, the stunning room boasts a dedicated entrance – via a pretty courtyard – an adjoining outdoor Terrace and a separate registration area. The space itself has an impressive vaulted ceiling, painted brick walls and a brand new polished, solid wooden floor.

The layout of the room gives organisers and couples tying the knot an interconnecting space, perfect to set up as a bar. The neutral, contemporary feel of the décor means the space can be transformed into anything from a Hawaiian luau to a Winter Wonderland. The Prince Consort Rooms also comes with an adjoining room tucked away near the main entrance which makes a perfect organiser’s office or green room.
Catering
Our in-house catering partner, Searcys, is highly experienced and hugely proficient at preparing and serving fabulous food for large events. They only ever use the finest quality ingredients, sourced from responsible, seasonally-minded suppliers and take great pride in every mouthful they serve, from canapés to main courses.
Advanced AV Facilities
Conferences and large events rely on flawless technical equipment and support. The Prince Consort Rooms has state-of-the-art audio visual facilities and an expert on-site team so you can concentrate on the rest of your event. The AV equipment includes an in-built atmospheric lighting scheme which includes remote-controlled pin spot lighting and LED colour change uplighters – a hugely beneficial facility when it comes to theming.
