Why will your exhibitors immediately re-book their stand for next year’s show or your delegates sign-up for an early-bird discounted ticket for next year’s conference? Here at The HAC we know how to make an event stand out from the crowd.
Discover the Enduring charm of historic HAC
Visitors to The HAC tell us how much they love a venue with a story to tell, and the historic buildings on our six-acre plot have tales a-plenty. The main building, Armoury House, was originally built in 1735 when it became the home of The Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) and has a Grade II listed status. Because of its historical importance it still retains many of its original features, it even houses a museum containing artefacts from the regiment's fascinating past.
Note that we have now opened our bookings for Christmas 2025, new packages or offerings can be viewed here. Limited availability on Summer parties.

Versatile Spaces, Perfect Settings for Every Event
Nestled in the heart of The City of London, the Georgian manor house never fails to make a memorable impression on visitors. Not many first-time guests to Armoury House expect to have a view over five acres of lush, green lawns from the building’s canon-flagged entrance.
Nor do they anticipate the variety of spaces within its walls. The largest of our London venue’s space is the Long Room, which boasts rich, red décor and beautiful wooden panelling. As well as large windows, traditional portraiture and imposing chandeliers, the hidden gem which always inspires delight in our visitors is the minstrel’s gallery. Poised just above the dining area, it’s the perfect spot in which to sit a string quartet to serenade guests.
The other four spaces in the Armoury House, the Medal Room, Queen Anne’s Room, Court Room and Ante Room each have their own personalities and features, from high ceilings and huge windows to gilt-framed murals and historical displays. All of these attributes help create a sense of occasion to events, pushing them beyond the everyday.
Our largest space, the Prince Consort Rooms (PCR), is also a venue which makes a mark. Originally used as a drill hall by the regiment, this huge, re-purposed space has been fitted out with state-of-the-art technical equipment, offering conference organisers all the audio visual solutions they could wish for. Seating up to 480 delegates in a theatre style, the PCR is a versatile, blank canvas space which can transform into an evening venue for dinners, drinks receptions and parties.
The HAC also boasts one of the largest outdoor spaces for hire in the capital. The five-acre, green lawns within our estate are a unique find in The City of London and make a truly memorable location for team building days and corporate sports games. The Artillery Garden offers organisers a large, outside space which gives guests a sense of escapism without having to leave London. We often set the lawns up for It’s a Knockout–style activity days for corporate away days or traditional fairgrounds for summer parties.
The cricket pitch within our grounds is lovingly tended for by our grounds team and is the only one for hire in the Square Mile and our rugby pitch is kept to the standards expected by national and international teams.
Memorable Meals and Service, Just for Your Guests
Whatever type of event you’ve got coming up, be it a corporate party, meeting, conference or networking event, second only of importance to your choice of venue is your choice of caterer. The HAC’s catering partner is the world-class Searcys.
Searcy’s menus have a traditional British feel to them, with seasonality and sustainability at the heart of everything they do. Their pledge is to ensure at least 90% of the fruit and vegetables they buy are from British farmers and all the meat they use is UK-reared. We’re sure that these values will be as important to your guests as they are to us.

Although we’re proud of our buildings, history, facilities, location and catering, we believe it’s the staff here at The HAC who make every event we host truly special. Every member of the team goes above and beyond in their duties to ensure every single guest who steps through our doors feels looked after and welcome. Linklaters, who held a corporate event here last summer agrees.
"I just wanted to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH! ‘Words cannot express how grateful we are for the exceptional service provided by you and your onsite team! Considering we only had a week and a half to turn this event around, I am so pleased the event ran seamlessly on the day. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you Maria, thank you for being so efficient and contactable during any time of the day. The service and food on the day was excellent and we are so pleased the turn-out was fantastic!"

Exploring London's Vibrant Surroundings
Our location in the heart of the City of London is another reason The HAC stands out from the crowd. As well as being fabulously well connected to the London Underground, National Rail and London City Airport, London itself is also a huge draw for out-of-towners and international delegates, offering the chance to visit world-famous sights and landmarks, plus the opportunity to connect with business contacts throughout the capital.
