Sustainability
One of the most important trends for 2023 is sustainability. It should now be an integral part of a business’s strategy.

Many organisers and event planners are using virtual and/or augmented reality to create show-stopping events where guests experience scenes and become immersed in settings that would not be possible in previous years. Not only do these forms of technology contribute to making events highly engaging, but they also mean that in-person and online attendees can share similar experiences, with some organisers incorporating initiatives accessible through guests’ mobile devices. Another great benefit of using event tech is the opportunity for mass data capture and lead generation - leading to better ROI for events. The AR and VR industry is set to grow by over 25% in the next two years.
In-person Events
According to the 2023 Amex Global Event Trends Forecast, the market shows ‘booming optimism and focus on in-person meetings and events'. This research demonstrates the value of experiencing in-person events. There is a desire for in-person networking, learning, and development and to experience the richness that live events naturally provide.
