As any event organiser knows, there are a myriad of threads that pull together when putting on a successful conference, so it only takes one loose strand to unravel the whole thing. Here at The HAC we understand the complexities involved in hosting large conferences and have complete confidence in our facilities, staff and services. Let us tell you why…
Location
It’s an obvious point, but one not to be underestimated. Being based in the heart of the City of London makes travel for local, national and international guests really easy. It also means organisers have a huge variety of post-event entertainment options right on their doorstep. The local hotels also cover a range of budgets giving delegates a fabulous choice if they are coming in from out of town.
Atmosphere
It might not make it onto many organisers ‘must-have’ lists, but providing delegates with a creative, stimulating environment is imperative in taking a good conference to the next level. Your speakers’ and delegates’ surroundings play a huge part in their ability to perform their best and The HAC is an undeniably inspiring place. The 18th-century Armoury House and the contemporary Prince Consort Rooms offer the perfect combination of style and substance for any conference.
Audio visual
Any part of your conference which requires technical input - from presentations and speeches to live music and digital displays – needs to be flawlessly executed. The Prince Consort Rooms at The HAC has all the AV facilities an organiser could dream of plus an in-house team of technicians who can take the responsibility of delivery off your shoulders.
Additional spaces
Being a delegate is an exhausting job. To keep your attendees engaged and motivated it’s a good idea to move them around to different spaces and get them some fresh air and sunlight throughout the day. In additional to its largest suite, The HAC has six spaces in which organisers can hold breakout sessions and offer catering. Each room has its own individual charms and merits plus there is a Sun Terrace and five acres of lawns for visitors to enjoy.
Catering
As well as providing the right space for your delegates it’s equally important to give them the right food and drinks to fuel their minds and bodies. Our in-house caterers offer a range of menus, from networking buffet lunches to three-course, sit down, gala dinners. Our chefs source only the finest, freshest ingredients from ethical suppliers and everything they serve is utterly delicious. They also understand the importance of giving healthy choices to their diners as it gives them the fuel to optimise their contribution to your event.
Extras
With any event, it’s often the small things and the extras that make it a memorable and special occasion. There are several things The HAC has to offer which we think set us apart from other venues. These include:
- A green room/organisers’ office, located just outside the main foyer of the Prince Consort Rooms
- Waiting and organising staff you will be proud to have as an extension of your team
- The venue itself is steeped in history giving your guests ice-breaking talking points
- The Prince Consort Rooms has an in-built atmospheric lighting system which includes pinspot lighting and LED colour change uplighting
- As well as boasting beautiful views over the Artillery Garden, rooms in Armoury House also overlook the stunning City skyline
- Our Events Team has a contacts book bursting full of some of the best suppliers in the business
