The Ante Room

Used mainly as a breakout space for large events in the Prince Consort Rooms, the light and airy Ante Room has high ceilings, a neutral décor and touches of real character. As with all of the event spaces in Armoury House, its portraits, memorabilia and features provide guests with an environment completely removed from their everyday life. Situated on the ground floor, filled with natural daylight and with lovely views over the lawns it’s the perfect spot to focus, innovate and get business done. A place to think differently and let creative juices flow.

The space is also often used in conjunction with the Queen’s Room on the other side of the hallway, with one room used for reception drinks and the other for sit-down dinners. The room also works well when set up in a boardroom or theatre style, or with round tables.

Our in-house caterer, Searcys, has a range of menus we can serve in the Ante Room. Whether you’re hosting a networking buffet, canapés and drinks or an evening of fine dining, our chefs take the same great care and effort in serving fresh and delicious food and drink.
