A unique and historic London venue

Our London home, comprising Armoury House and the Artillery Garden, is a unique and vibrant place and offers an unparalleled venue for corporate, private and sporting events as well as a place for members to meet, eat and relax.

Established by Royal Charter in 1537 for the “better defence of the realm”, we are still active in this role, with a surveillance and target-acquisition British Army regiment that bears our name. We are also a charity and members’ organisation.

Many of our 2,500 members are either serving soldiers or volunteers in our Detachment of Special Constabulary (City of London Police). Others, who have completed their Active service, belong to our veteran Company.
